1927-ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച, ‘അഷ്ടാംഗസംഗ്രഹം’ എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിൻ്റെ ഡിജിറ്റൽ സ്കാൻ ആണ് ഈ പോസ്റ്റിലൂടെ പങ്കു വെക്കുന്നത്.

ആയുർവേദ പഠനത്തിൽ വളരെ നിർണ്ണായകമായൊരു  ഗ്രന്ഥമാണ് വാഗ്ഭടാചാര്യൻ്റെ ‘അഷ്ടാംഗ സംഗ്രഹം’. അഷ്ടാംഗ സംഗ്രഹം അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി സംസ്കൃതത്തിലാണ് രചിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. കഠിനമായ സംസ്കൃത ശ്ലോകങ്ങളെ സാധാരണക്കാർക്കും വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്ര വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും ഒരു പോലെ മനസ്സിലാകുന്ന രീതിയിൽ ലളിതമായ മലയാളത്തിലേക്ക് വാസുദേവൻ മൂസ്സത് തർജ്ജിമ ചെയ്തു. അഷ്ടാംഗ സംഗ്രഹത്തിലെ നിദാനസ്ഥാനത്തെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയാണ് ഈ വ്യാഖ്യാനം തയ്യാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
