Through this post we are releasing the scan of the book titled St. Johns Medical College Bangalore – Silver Jubilee Souvenir. published in connection with the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the institute in 1988.
St. Johns Medical College is an Educational and Health Care Institution owned and administered by the Catholic Bishop’s Conference of India(CBCI). The Institute was inaugurated on July 8th 1963 with a humble start. At the time of its Silver Jubilee, the College is having a 150 acre campus on Hosur Road, Bangalore bristling with the impressive structures of the college, 750 bed hospital, School of Nursing, various hostels, staff residences, Annexes for patients’ attendants and visitors.
The Souvenir brings out a variety of material such as messages of felicitation from dignitaries of the State and Church. A survey of the history of the College project, accounts of a variety of functions, workshops, seminars etc. in connection with the Silver Jubilee.
