Through this post, we are releasing the digital scan of Cochin Chamber of Commerce Report 1922-23 Published in the year 1924Cochin Chamber of Commerce – 1922-1923 Report

The report provides a detailed record of the Chamber’s financial accounts, trade statistics, rules and port related regulations of that time. The contents include information on imports and exports from Cochin and nearby ports such as Alleppy, Mangalore and Calicut, details of customs, tonnage and port dues, rainfall data and a record of the Chamber’s correspondence. Beyond being a financial statement, the report serves as an important historical document offering valuable insights into the commercial activity maritime trade and administrative practices of Cochin during the early 1920s
