The 1945 editions of Zamorin’s college Magazine comprises of both English and Malayalam Sections. The English section was edited by K. Damodaran Thampan and P. Gopalan Nayar. while the Malayalam section was edited by D. Rama Varier and V. T. Vasudeva Paniker. The Magazines featured a diverse collection of literary articles and essays, addressing a wide range of topics with social relevance. Articles are contributed by various individuals, including faculty, alumni, and other members of the college community, reflecting the intellectual and cultural vibrancy of the institution.

കെ. രാമകൃഷ്ണപ്പിള്ളയുടെ ആത്മകഥാപരമായ കൃതികളിൽ ഏറെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഒന്നാണ് “എൻ്റെ നാടുകടത്തൽ”. 1904-ൽ തിരുവിതാംകൂർ സർക്കാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനെതിരെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച നാടുകടത്തൽ ഉത്തരവിന്റെ അനുഭവങ്ങളും പശ്ചാത്തലവും അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആത്മകഥാസ്വഭാവമുള്ള രചനയാണ് ഇത്. കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യകാല രാഷ്ട്രീയ പത്രപ്രവർത്തകരിൽ ഒരാളായിരുന്ന കെ. രാമകൃഷ്ണപ്പിള്ളയുടെ ദേശീയവീക്ഷണത്തെയും ജനാധിപത്യബോധത്തെയും അനാവരണം ചെയ്യുകയും, കേരളത്തിലെ ദേശീയ പ്രസ്ഥാനം, രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചരിത്രം, സാമൂഹ്യ അവസ്ഥകൾ തുടങ്ങിയ വിവരങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കൃതിയാണിത്.

Ernakulam Maharaja’s College traces its roots back to a school founded in the mid-19th century which over time evolved in structure and status toward a college. The college as such was formally established by around 1875. Over the years, it has grown both in academic profile and infrastructure; most recently, it marked a 150th anniversary of its inception. It is a government college, currently functioning with autonomous status. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in the state of Kerala, with a long tradition of academic excellence, cultural contributions, and alumni influence.
