Through this post we are releasing the scan of the book titled A Church in Struggle written by A. Kanjirathingal published in the year 1984.
The Content of this book is the historic juridical study on the reforms of Mgr. Bernardine Baccinelli the vicar apostolic of Verapoly in the middle of the 19th Century. This throws much light on the much unknown shrouded and neglected aspect of the local history of Malabar church and pinpoints how a foreign power could transform the Malabar Church to the extent of the destruction of its traditions and customs for the preservation of which the Malabarians fought relentlessly from the intervention of the European powers in the wake of the geographical discoveries.
