Abstract
The Marxist is a theoretical quarterly of the communist party of india (marxist). This issue focuses primarily on the critical evaluation of India’s economic trajectory following the "liberalization" reforms of the early 1990s. The journal also serves as a platform for global socialist discourse. It includes the inaugural speech by Jose Ramon Balaguer Cabrera from an international workshop in Havana, titled "Socialism towards the 21st Century," which asserts the continued viability of socialism against capitalist globalization. It also contain document on the South African Revolution, situating the antiapartheid struggle within its international context.
