Abstract
The Bhartiya Nritya Kala Mandir is a premier dance institution and "Academy of India Traditional Dance" located in Patna, Bihar. Established in 1949, the provided text was published as bulletin No. 3 to commemorate its 20th Year Celebration (1949–1969). The institution was founded by Shri Hari Uppal, a graduate in dance from Viswa Bharati University, Santiniketan, who served as its Founder-Director. The Mandir provides comprehensive training in classical Indian dance forms, including Manipuri, Kathakali, Mohini-Attam, and Bharatnatyam as well as the folk dances of Bihar
