Bhimaparakramam is a classical Sanskrit drama belonging to the collection referred to as Trivandrum Sanskrit Series, number 173. The title literally means “The Valour of Bhīma”, and the work focuses on the heroic exploits of Bhīma, one of the central figures of the Mahabharata. The drama draws its narrative from episodes in the epic where Bhima’s strength, courage, and martial prowess are prominently displayed, such as his battles with powerful enemies and his role in protecting the Pandavas.
