Abstract
The Saunakiya is one of the two surviving "branches" of the Atharvaveda. It consists of 20 books (kandas), approximately 730 hymns, and about 6,000 stanzas.It contains "charms" and rituals for daily life,healing, protection, longevity, and even political success.
