This book, prepared in a question-and-answer format from the Malayalam grammar work written by Hermann Gundert, was compiled by Liston Garthwaite, a British educationist. Designed to simplify Malayalam grammar, the book presents the English text on one page and its Malayalam translation on the facing page. The author states that the work was intended for readers who found Gundert’s original edition difficult to understand.
