റവ. ഇ. ലസേറൺ രചിച്ച A Dictionary of the Malayalim and English, and the English and Malayalim Languages, with an Appendix എന്ന നിഘണ്ടു 1856-ൽ കോട്ടയത്തെ സി.എം.എസ്. പ്രസിൽ അച്ചടിച്ചു പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചതാണ്. ഈ ഗ്രന്ഥം മൂന്ന് ഭാഗങ്ങളായി വിഭജിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു:
1. മലയാളം–ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് നിഘണ്ടു
2. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്–മലയാളം നിഘണ്ടു
3. അനുബന്ധം – ക്രമവിരുദ്ധ ക്രിയകൾ (Irregular Verbs)

A Dictionary of the Malyalim and English, and the English and Malayalim Languages, with an Appendix by Rev. E. Laseron was printed at the C.M.S. Press, Cottayam, and published in 1856. The work is divided into three parts:
1. Dictionary – Malayalim and English
2. Dictionary – English and Malayalim
3. Appendix – Irregular Verbs
As was common in Malayalam publications of this period, the distinct graphemes for the vowels "ഏ" and "ഓ" were not yet in use. Nevertheless, words containing these vowel sounds were classified separately within the dictionary, indicating that the phonological distinction was recognized despite the absence of dedicated script forms.
